PCC is dedicated to promoting global education and cultural exchange. Our mission is to provide diverse international learning opportunities through year-round student ambassador programs, teacher exchanges, consulting and development for international educational institutions, and the establishment of academic partnerships.

We offer enriching educational programs for students and teachers, helping them broaden their perspectives, enhance language skills, and develop global leadership in diverse cultural environments.

Through cultural and educational activities such as the student ambassador program, PCC aims to be a pillar in advancing international education exchange and cultural understanding, fostering deeper connections between students and the global community.

Mission: Connecting the World, Cultivating Global Citizens

The mission of PCC is to help the younger generation deepen their understanding of different countries and cultures, becoming true "citizens of the world." Through this, we aspire to bridge divides and dispel misunderstandings between nations and peoples.

Looking Back: Moments That Moved Us

In 2015, I led an eight-member delegation from San Francisco on a journey to China. Our team included educational experts, the director of an international education bureau, and key members of the Richmond community. From Beijing to Guangzhou, passing through Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou, we forged lasting friendships and partnerships with local schools and educational institutions.

In 2016, 96 students and teachers from Shanghai came to the United States for a two-week summer camp at De Anza High School. When the time came to say goodbye, American and Chinese students embraced each other tightly, reluctant to part, with tears streaming down their faces. That moment remains deeply etched in my heart.

From 2017 to 2019, we facilitated the exchange of 200 to 400 students annually. They attended classes together, explored museums, played basketball, and built friendships that transcended borders. These cultural exchanges expanded their worlds and deepened their understanding of one another.

Looking Ahead: Let Friendship Endure, Let Exchange Continue

We have witnessed American students standing in awe before the Great Wall, absorbing the depth of millennia-old culture in the Forbidden City, marveling at the craftsmanship of jade burial suits, and admiring the technological wonders of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. These moments of wonder and inspiration fuel our passion for cultural exchange.

We hope that after each program, students will stay in touch, fostering deeper connections and inspiring more peers to join in. American students will invite their Chinese friends to visit the U.S., while Chinese students will welcome their American friends to China, ensuring that these friendships continue to flourish. To achieve this, we must create more opportunities for exchange, allowing these bonds to take root and grow strong.

This mission is not an easy one, but with collective effort, we can deepen and expand these exchanges. The encouragement and support from people from all walks of life are the driving forces behind this endeavor.

We firmly believe that mutual understanding and respect across borders are the foundation of world peace. Let us work hand in hand to open new horizons for the younger generation, building bridges of friendship that span mountains and oceans, carrying forward for generations to come.
